Led team of 21 geographically dispersed associates in implementing corporate directives of expanding retail locations through mergers and acquisitions, modernizing facilities, and reducing overhead expenses through downsizing of corporate office space.Conducted compliance testing and verification to insure compliance with federal banking regulations, internal policies and procedures. 2008 – 2009 expansions, facility closures and major security changes to bank buildings.

Vice President, Commercial Real Estate
Joined organization with original focus of managing closing and funding of senior debt, lines of credit and bond financing for commercial real estate transactions in the United States and Puerto Rico Within 4-years transferred to Private Equity Group and directed all phases of closing and funding LIHTC, mezzanine, and equity transactions. Worked closely with deal generating bankers, underwriters, credit officers and loan servicing. Hired and managed outside vendors and legal counsel necessary to insure a timely closing.
