JACOB RE, ATTORNEY AT LAW:
Jacob is an attorney whose practice encompasses both transactional and litigation matters involving real estate, corporate and small business law, commercial transactions, and banking law. He advises clients on the documentation, negotiation, and closing of complex commercial real estate transactions and provides strategic guidance throughout each stage of a deal.

Jacob’s real estate practice includes the acquisition, disposition, development, and leasing of retail, mixed-use, office, warehouse, and other commercial properties, including large-scale projects involving office buildings, shopping centers, and multi-family and single-family residential developments. He regularly drafts and negotiates purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, and ancillary transactional documents, and has significant experience reviewing titles, surveys, environmental reports, and other due-diligence materials.

Jacob also represents commercial borrowers in real estate-secured loan transactions, including loan originations, refinancings, and matters involving foreclosure and receivership defense. His background in banking and finance enables him to counsel clients on structuring, negotiating, and closing a wide range of lending arrangements.

On the litigation side, Jacob represents clients in disputes involving real estate, contract enforcement, corporate governance, business torts, and commercial lending. He has handled matters in both state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration and mediation, including breach-of-contract claims, lease disputes, title and property issues, eminent domain matters, and lender-borrower conflicts. His practical understanding of transactional realities informs his litigation strategy, allowing him to efficiently assess risk, protect client interests, and pursue favorable outcomes through negotiation, motion practice, or trial.
